Liquid Silicone Rubber Injection Molding
Rogan Corporation specializes in molding with Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR molding), which offers customers the following valuable unique properties:
- Extreme Temperature Range
- Superior Chemical Resistance
- Ease of Sterilization
- Superior Dielectric Insulation
In a molding project involving liquid silicone rubber, it is critical that the molder, the mold builder, and the molding press manufacturer communicate with one another clearly and cooperate to meet customer requirements. Failure to do so can dramatically affect the success of the project.
Rogan Corporation understands this critical need and works closely with its mold building and press manufacturer partners to achieve optimum results. We and our partners share not only detailed specifications with one another but also our experiences in molding liquid silicone rubber. As familiar and experienced as we are with LSR molding techniques, each of us has unique and intimate knowledge of our specialty.
Bondable Liquid Silicone Molding
Rogan Corporation provides its customers unique bondable liquid silicone injection molding.
- Class 100,000 Clean Room
Bonding With Engineering Grade Resins
Liquid Silicone Rubber can be bonded to the majority of engineering-grade plastic resins. The bond is highly durable and will withstand flex movement at different temperature ranges. We are experienced molding:
- Liquid Silicone Rubber to Plastics
- Liquid Silicone Rubber to Metals
- Insert Molding
- Precision Molding
- Electronic Devices
- Seals and Gaskets
Cold Deck Molding
Rogan has cold deck technology in place with both its horizontal and vertical LSR molding equipment. Cold deck injection molding reduces the volume of LSR material used during molding by eliminating sprue and runner waste. The result is lower material costs and increased productivity. These savings are significant when molding the complex parts that are Rogan’s specialty. Cold deck technology results in faster molding cycles and cost-effective LSR molding.
With this system, we can efficiently and cost-effectively mold both intricate small parts and larger parts measuring up to 12 inches square.
